What to expect

New Patient Visit
At your new patient visit, we take a personalized and investigative approach to understanding your health. The visit begins with a thorough review of your health history, including current symptoms, past diagnoses, and any recent lab work. From there, we recommend targeted testing based on your unique needs—this may include food allergy panels, gut health assessments, hormone evaluations, immune function, and more. If you're visit is in person, we may also perform spinal x-ray imaging and a physical exam when appropriate. Our goal is to uncover the root causes of your health concerns and lay the foundation for a customized care plan that supports healing and long-term wellness.

Completing Testing
After your initial visit, the next step is completing the recommended testing. These labs are chosen based on your individual health history and symptoms, and may include blood work, stool analysis, hormone panels, or other specialized tests. Some samples are collected at home, while others may require a visit to a local lab. Our goal is to gather meaningful data that helps us understand what’s happening beneath the surface—because at The Wellness Way, we don’t guess, we test. This information becomes the foundation for creating a care plan that’s truly tailored to you.

Review Labs & Create A plan
Once your lab results are in, we’ll review them together in detail. During this visit, we’ll walk through each test, explain what the results mean in the context of your symptoms and health history, and identify any patterns or imbalances that may be contributing to how you feel. This is where we begin to connect the dots and build a personalized care plan that addresses the root causes—not just the symptoms. Whether it involves dietary changes, lifestyle support, supplements, or further investigation, the plan is designed to meet you where you are and support your body’s ability to heal.

Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic visits—whether with us or your own trusted chiropractor—can be a crucial piece of the healing process by supporting proper nervous system function. When the spine is moving and aligned the way it should, communication between the brain and body improves, allowing for better regulation, adaptation, and healing. Adjustments are about more than just pain relief; they help reinforce healthy patterns, reduce stress on the system, and keep your body on track toward long-term balance and resilience. Each visit builds on the last, creating momentum that supports your overall wellness goals.

Continued Guidance
Continued guidance is a key part of your care at The Wellness Way. These progress visits are where we fine-tune your plan—adjusting supplements, tracking symptoms, and deciding when it’s time to re-test labs. It’s also a chance to talk through what’s working, what’s shifting, and what needs more support. Your body is always changing, and your care should evolve with it. During each session, we’ll monitor your progress closely and make thoughtful, informed decisions to keep your healing journey moving forward with clarity and purpose.

Reaching your Goals
Reaching your health goals means you’ve built the tools and habits to maintain wellness on your own—and that’s exactly what we want for you. Our role is to help you get there, not to keep you dependent on care. While many patients transition out of regular visits, we encourage everyone to check in annually for updated labs, food allergy testing, and to make sure everything is still on track. And if new concerns arise, we’re always here to help. Think of us as your long-term partner in health—available when you need us, and cheering you on as you continue your journey.
